Choose Your Style and use on most terrains All our shades and canopies are rated at least UPF50 in UV protection - i.e. provide at least 98% screening of direct UV radiation. We currently offer three shade styles with different fabric patterns - named after wonderful beaches in Mexico. Our Akumal style TeePee shade has a Chevron type green and yellow pattern. Our Cancun style shade has a 2 color blue tone looking like drops of water. Finally, our Tulum style has blue anchors on a white background. Our TeePee shade canopy fabric measures 7.2'x5' and our poles are 6' tall. It is designed to comfortably provide shade and privacy for a single person or a couple - as opposed to our lycra family sunshades which are intended for more people. The TeePee shade is much lighter and more compact - weighing in a slightly more than 4lbs only. The TeePee shade is patent pending with a unique structure based on two folding poles with one crossbar attached between the 2 poles. With the 4 corners attached to robust anchors - it provides a very stable structure - however it is not intended to withstand very powerful winds. The 4 ground anchors come with a power handle to help drive the screw into the ground - at the beach, playground, back yard, camping ground - pretty much anywhere except concrete or very hard ground. Pick and Choose how to set up your TeePee shade Our TeePee shade has multiple sets of eyelets along the long edge - allowing you to setup up the sunshade in various ways providing an optimal solution for providing shade and privacy throughout the day - depending on the sun position. In the early morning and late afternoon - the Sunset position provides the best solution, while in mid morning and mid afternoon - the Sunbath position is recommended. Around Midday, the TeePee Shade can be setup in it's "classic" TeePee position. The TeePee shade setup can easily be changed between positions by repositioning of the poles along the relevant eyelets and adjustment of the rope lengths on both sides. More characteristics of the Red Suricata TeePee Shade Canopy Adjustable Rope Length Our TeePee Shade allows to shorten the rope length with the adjustment triangle, allowing both a smaller footprint on the ground - mandatory at some beach/camping locations, as well as making it easier to tighten the structure of the shade, without having to move the ground screws. It also allows to easily change to shade setup between the 3 available positions. Powerful ground anchor screws Our custom designed powerful ground anchor screws included with our TeePee Canopy allow to anchor the canopy in most ground types (except for extremely hard / rock / concrete surfaces) making the TeePee tent canopy the canopy of choice for its versatility - use both on the beach, in your back yard, at camping or RVing and even in your kid's playground - for one or two people. Also included is a power handle, used to provide greater leverage in screwing the screws into the ground, as well as taking them out. Compact package to carry Our TeePee shelter easily folds onto itself. Place all the accessories into the provided accessory bag and place the bag inside the folding shade.
